What age do you think is okay to start dating?

I live in southeast Asia, in a fairly strict household. I'm not allowed to date until I'm EIGHTEEN! And I alr have a guy I like, who I know likes me too. XD anyway I'm just curious to know what's outside the little bubble I live in :)
