Question about girlfriend?

we're juniors and have been dating for almost seven months. last night i told my gf to text me back after she got home from hanging with her friend and as it got really late, i decided to text her although she hadnt texted me and she said she had been home for awhile which confused me. she said she thought i "was busy" which makes no sense. then today i told her to text me when she got out of the shower and after an hour i decided to text her and she said she got out of the shower ago then went to the mall with a friend but never texted me because she "was rushed." am i trying to talk to her too much or something? thanks for your help
