Is it possible to connect my Cerwin Vega E-712's to my Cerwin Vega LW-10 powered sub?

I am wondering if this is possible. I do not have the user guide and I tried connecting my towers to the output on the sub but it doesn't produce any sound. I must be doing something wrong if it's even possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
